I discovered this restaurant today and I am so glad I did! The food was delicious. The portions are generous. I have been to other Italian restaurants where you get a small portion and you pay a lot more. At Basilico, the prices are reasonable. There are a lot of choices to pick from. I had "Gigi" the pasta. I loved every bite I had. I tasted the pizza. It's also amazing! We ordered several deserts as you can see in the photos. They were all fresh, savory and very beautifully presented. The chocolate mousse is to die for. You should absolutely try it. It is light and fluffy. About the service, it was fast. The friendly staff made sure we had a great time. The owner is so nice and generous. I highly recommend! We will be back for sure.

The absolute best Carbonara outside of Rome! Delicious cannoli and very friendly service. The Nutella pizza for dessert is also a great choice. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.

Had the pleasure of having our team lunch there today. Everything was just perfect. The food was amazing. Very authentic Italian. Some members of the team tried different pizzas, and enjoyed them. Others had salads, where the portions were perfect. I had the pasta bolognese. The sauce was too die for. I had it with penne. It was so good that I took my time eating it, because I didn't want it to end. I highly recommend this place. I am already looking forward to going again, but for a nice romantic dinner with my lovely wife.

The pizza had just the right amount of toppings and a wonderfully crispy crust that added to the overall appeal. It was evident that the kitchen staff knew what they were doing when it came to crafting a top-notch Italian pizza. The flavors were authentic and rich, making me feel like I was transported to Italy with each bite. However, as much as I loved the pizza, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed with the service. It was rather slow, and it felt like a bit of a challenge to get the attention of our server. Throughout our meal, she seemed preoccupied, engaged in conversations with other staff members.

Cozy nice little place to sit and enjoy italian food. Though they do not have big selection, the things they offer tasty enough for the price. We came here on Saturday evening at 17:30 and it was literally the only place still empty for people to come without reservation. Otherwise nothing within 10km. We had Greek Pizza and Carbonara. I would give 4 stars for the food as it was a bit salty both dishes, but not overly. For the dessert Strawberry Panna Cotta and Cannoli. First time I've eaten unsweetened cannoli, but overall they were good. Loved Panna Cotta! Parking is free and easily accessible. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

This place has the most delicious food. The pizza was crispy and light, the carbonara was exquisite and the dessert was phenomenal. They had a big selection of good wines that paired well with the food. But most importantly, the owner, comes around and speaks to his customers. Basilico is a gem that you must try.

Amazing pizza in nun’s island with generous toppings and a thin yet dry (not soggy) and crispy dough. Rustica pizza was really good! It had so many components: the sausage, the olive, the cheese and the sauce making a perfect bite each time! Staff was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and they had hooks in their walls so you can hang your purse/backs! Very thoughtful. Overall it was a great experience and amazing food!
